Maurizio Ravalico

Born in Trieste, Italy, Maurizio has been living and working in London since 1991. He was percussionist with Jamiroquai and the James Taylor Quartet as well as several Salsa and Cuban music projects. In 1998, under the name Afroshock, in duo with the drummer Davide Giovannini, he released the album 'Accommodating Gods', and more recently the 'ezzthetic_ep' with Ezzthetic, a collective of experimental artists based in Italy.

Also a member of the F-IRE Collective, Maurizio is currently working on projects with laptop musician Isambard Khrustaliov, from the duo Icarus, and another with the acclaimed tuba player Oren Marshall. (See www.maurizioravalico.com).
